The Valu-Rip system provides today's rough mills with the ability to predict process yields and improve quality control.
Valu-Rip uses single point width measuring technology to measure the width of the board and to present the optimized ripping solution to the operator via laser lights.
Valu-Rip can also position the board in front of the rip saw and automatically feed into the saw.
Result: Your operator produces the best material..... in the right quantity, at the right time.

The embedded simulation software provides rough mills the ability to manage their workflow and outline the best scenarios for day-to-day operations, based on specific materials, measurements and the desired yields. A great job-costing tool.
While the Valu-Rip system's intelligence bypasses the need to manually adjust arbors, it is also outfitted with a simple override application; providing operators with the controls they need.

Touch Screen -
Even with gloves on, Raimann's easy-to-use touch screen operates the Valu-Rip software. Order Entry -
Gives the operator the ability to set strip values and lineal footage quantities efficiently. Valu-Rip will calculate the best solution for the highest yields.
Cutting Simulation -
With this application, you can determine material yield before ripping a single board. Integrated with office computers, the Valu-Rip simulation can run independently without disrupting your rough mill operations.
Reporting -
Every Valu-Rip comes with standard report generation including input/output analysis, real-time statistics of rip sizes, comparison of your vendors, as well as yield and wood distribution..... all these reports can be printed in full color and are exported in a complete list of data formats, including Excel, Word and HTML. Optional custom reports are available.
