The Powermat 400

The Powermat 400 has most of the features of the bigger moulders in a smaller package.
With the WEINIG Memory System (standard equipment) in combination with PowerLock technology, the Powermat 400 is amazingly quick and easy to set-up, in fact, it only takes seconds to change a tool.
There are 4 spindle configurations available to meet your requirements with 5-7 spindles, each of them can include an optional universal spindle.
A new PowerLock cutterhead concept with larger tool diameter and lighter weight permits an optimal cutting speed of 6000 rpm. The PowerLock technology allows the use of adapter shafts to let you use the heads or insert cutters you already have with the speed of PowerLock. Even if the bore sizes are different!

With PowerCom software and motorized spindle adjustments, the Powermat 400 can be equipped as a CNC machine. PowerLock tool holders for fast setup, and a choice of automatic control packages from the simple Memory System to the PowerCom controller with networking to the tool room and other Powercom machines.
